Maui Shark Attack, Search for Suspect, Zipperlane Project

Aloha, here's a look at what we're working on for Hawaii News Now at 5 & 5:30....

MAUI SHARK ATTACK

On Maui, a 16-year-old California girl is recovering from injuries she suffered from what's believed to be a small reef shark. It happened at around 10 this morning in Kahana near Pohaku Park. The girl was taken to the hospital by her parents for what's being described as minor injuries to her left leg.

ROBBERY SUSPECT SEARCH

The search is on for a gunman who robbed a recycling center last week. Honolulu police are hoping a sketch will help them find the robber who held up a worker at the Reynolds Center in Nanakuli.

NEW ZIPPERLANE PROJECT

The State announced a new afternoon west-bound zipperlane project. It'll run from Pearl Harbor near the Radford Drive overpass to Waikele during afternoon rush-hour. Teri Okita brings us details and when phase one of the project is expected to start.
