Honolulu Trash Troubles, Lanai Deal Done, Missing Toddler Found

TRASH PICKUP DELAY RESOLVED

After a delay in trash pick-up in Hawaii Kai, the City finally got around to emptying bins this morning. City Councilman Stanley Chang says more vehicles are needed in the City's fleet of trash-pick trucks. Jim Mendoza will bring us more details tonight at 5.

PUC GIVES THE "OK"

Billionaire Larry Ellison may be a step closer to sealing the deal to buy the island of Lanai. The State gave a preliminary ok to selling 3 utilities on Lanai. However, the PUC continues its financial investigation and may disapprove of the sale in the future. Keoki Kerr has more at 5.

MISSING GIRL FOUND

And ...Honolulu police say a 2-year-old girl reported missing has been found. A police helicopter located Kaitlyn Kiyota on the side of the road near Kaena Point. She's reportedly in good condition. At last check, investigators have not opened a kidnapping case.
