KAUNAKAKAI, MOLOKAI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Maui police have identified the driver of a motorcycle that was killed in a crash Saturday as 33-year-old Cami Naehu.

Police say the crash happened just before 5 p.m. on Kamehameha V Highway about 4.4 miles east of milepost #18 near Kealanui Ohina Place in Kaunakakai.

Police say Naehu was heading east on Kamehameha V Highway when the motorcycle crossed the center line and ended up on the west bound shoulder of the roadway. Once on the shoulder, Naehu traveled up a small berm and collided into a tree. Police say Naehu was wearing a helmet.

She was taken to the Molokai General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.  Police suspect speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
