Ceremony to honor Korean War veterans to be held at Punchbowl

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Korean Consulate in Honolulu will hold a ceremony Monday to mark the 62nd anniversary of the start of the Korean War.

War veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice will be honored at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.

Military, state and city officials are expected to attend.

According to officials, 456 men from Hawaii died during the five-year conflict.
