After the first five events of the Decathlon at the US Track and Field Olympic Trials, Bryan Clay sits in third place with 4252 points.
The top three finishers in the 10 events will qualify for the London Olympics, where Clay will hope to become the first decathlete ever to medal in three separate Olympics.
Clay won silver in 2004 in Greece, and gold in Beijing in 2008.
Ashton Eaton is currently in the lead with 4728 points, with Trey Hardee in 2nd with 4406 points. Gray Horn is in 4th, with 4084 points.

100 meters – 2nd
Long Jump – 6th
Shot Put – 2nd
High Jump – 7th
400 meters – 14th
