HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are investigating an early-morning vehicle crash that shut down two lanes of the H1 freeway.
The incident happened just after midnight on the H1 eastbound near the King Street exit when a Toyota Tacoma crashed into a group of sand barrels.
The truck flipped over and sustained significant damage, but the driver of the vehicle managed to walk away unharmed.
Two lanes of the freeway were closed while Honolulu Fire Department crews cleared the scene.
The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.
