HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A University of Hawaii football player has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
Honolulu police arrested Reid Tachibana, a defensive lineman who graduated from Kahuku High School, just before 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning in Kalihi. The 23-year old later posted bail. Coach Norm Chow is still gathering information and has yet to make a decision on Tachibana's future.
This comes just three months after another Warrior player, Cayman Shutter, was arrested for allegedly driving drunk on the H-1 Freeway. Shutter pleaded no contest. He is suspended for the first four games of the season.
