SEWER WORK ALERT

Drivers in Downtown Honolulu should avoid Beretania and Keaaumoku Street and the area around Hotel and Alakea from 9 tonight until 5 tomorrow morning. Construction crews will be installing new sewer pipes. We'll have more traffic alerts for you every 10 minutes on Sunrise.

Electricity rates have hit a new record in Hawaii. The average bill for a family on Oahu this month will be close to 220 dollars. That's 3 dollars higher than last month. Maui customers will pay about 6 dollars more. Big Island families will pay the most, an average of 262 dollars. High prices in Asia are to blame.

CHEF ROY YAMAGUCHI VISITS SUNRISE
