Only 3,000 to 5,000 pairs of the limited edition Nike shoes designed by hip-hop artist Kanye West will be hitting retail stores tomorrow.

It's a nation-wide frenzy, but here at home dozens have already started camping outside Kicks Hawaii on Makaloa St. to be the first to own a pair of the Air Yeezy 2.

"We've been here since Monday at one o'clock. It's been cold every night. You have to deal with a whole bunch of crazy people. But it's well worth it. I'd be willing to wait another week," said hopeful shopper Dae-Jin.

Kanye's kicks have a retail price of $245, but one eBay.com auction sold a pair to the highest bidder for $90,300. Other auctions ranged from $1,000 to $3,000.
