HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The King Kamehameha Day Parade is this Saturday. The celebration starts with the annual lei draping at the King Kamehameha Statues. Lehua Kalima, the Commission Executive Director, says there is still a need for lei. Plumeria is preferred, but they will accept all types of flowers Friday, starting at 7 a.m. in front of the statue.
