MAHALO FIREFIGHTERS!

Waianae residents are showing their aloha to Firefighters. Yesterday, while I was on scene, I witnessed a touching scene. An auntie made breakfast for the units who helped protect her home on a 24 hour shift. Since posting this picture to my facebook page and sharing it on our Hawaii News Now page, 6000+ people have "liked" it. Show your aloha to our hard working firefighters too by liking this picture. Mahalo!

About 400 acres have burned within the reserve, including a Native Hawaiian grass hale. No word yet on a cause.
