HONOLULU - (Hawaii Athletics) Season tickets for the 2012 University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine volleyball season are now on sale. Fans can purchase season tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, visit the Stan Sheriff Center box office (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or call (808) 944-2697 during the same hours.
All-American Emily Hartong and all-conference players Jane Croson and Mita Uiato return, along with Kalei Adolpho. The Rainbow Wahine host another great home schedule of matches highlighted by defending national champion UCLA and Pac-12 opponents California and Stanford. Hawai‘i also rejoins the Big West Conference and will renew rivalries with Cal Poly, Long Beach State, UC Santa Barbara, and Pacific. In all, Hawai‘i will host 20 matches.
Last season, the Rainbow Wahine led the nation in attendance for the 17th straight time and advanced to the NCAA Honolulu Regional semifinal. They finished the season 31-2 and ranked No. 5 in the nation.
The season kicks off with the Chevron Rainbow Wahine
Invitational from Aug. 24-26, a tournament that includes Stanford, Albany, and
Saint Mary's.
Season ticket prices are as follows:
Lower level - $165 plus an `Ahahui Koa Anuenue premium seat contribution*
Upper level adult - $120
Upper level senior citizen (65+) - $110
Upper level student (ages 4-high school) - $75
* The lower level AKA premium seat contribution will be either $100 or $120,
depending on the location of the seats.
