Motorcycle crash in Nanakuli sends man to the hospital in critical condition

NANAKULI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man was critically injured after crashing his motorcycle in Nanakuli.

Police said just after 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning, the 54-year old from Waianae lost control of his bike on Farrington Highway near Princess Kahanu Avenue.

According to authorities, the man was thrown from his bike when the car in front of him stopped for pedestrians crossing the road. Investigators said he was wearing a helmet.

Speed is a possible factor in the crash.
