At one point customers reported to the store manager that the RV was spilling 'sewage' onto the parking lot and that rain was spreading the waste.

Police, Fire and a Department of Health official were called to the scene.

It was discovered that the parking lot drains into a stream which eventually empties into Hilo Bay.

Warning signs have been posted at Alenaio and Wailoa stream and Hilo Bay.

The driver of the RV was cited.
