CrimeStoppers launches Tips 4 Tips campaign

By Erin Marx

CrimeStoppers usually asks for the community's tips to solve crimes, but now they're asking for your tips in a jar.  They're partnering with Big City Diner for its first Tips 4 Tips campaign beginning June 1.

"Any amount is appreciated, and no donation is too small.  All of the money collected will be used to help to pay rewards," said Honolulu police Sergeant Kim Buffett.

All five Big City Diner locations will have canisters where customers can leave donations to support efforts to keep our community safe.

"Big City Diner has always been committed to supporting our Community and keeping our Islands safe to live, work and play. We're proud to be partnering with Crime Stoppers in helping to fight crime here in Hawaii," said Walter Enriquez, Jr., Big City Diner's VP of Operations & Marketing.
