Man arrested for flashing weapon on city bus

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man arrested after flashing a weapon on the bus is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

Honolulu police were alerted Wednesday afternoon, after a suspected gunman ran into a hotel near Paiea Street along Nimitz Highway.

Witnesses say the suspect flashed a weapon during an argument with a fellow bus rider.

Police later discovered the suspect was holding an air gun.

Officers arrested 24-year-old Titiafou Lagai. He's been charged with use of an air gun.

No one was injured in the incident.
