Lei still needed for Memorial Day graves

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Thousands of lei are still needed to grace veterans' gravestones for Memorial Day.

As of Friday night, 30,000 lei had been collected.

That's still 20,000 short of the city's goal.

People can still drop off lei or loose flowers at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl on Sunday.
