3.5 quake rattles Big Island

PAHALA, HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) - Some residents on the Big Island of Hawaii were shaken by a magnitude 3.5 earthquake early Saturday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 2:10 a.m. 8 miles west of Pahala, 40 miles southeast of Kailua-Kona.

The earthquakes depth was 4 miles.
