MCCULLY-MOILIILI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are looking for the driver of a silver Nissan sedan that hit a moped rider and fled Wednesday night.
According to officials, the incident happened near Isenberg and Date Streets at about 9:30 p.m.
Officials say the 38-year-old moped rider, of Honolulu, was not wearing a helmet and suffered massive head injuries.
He was transported to the Queen's Medical Center in critical condition.
According to police, speed was possibly a factor in the crash.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police.
