WHITE OUT IN KALAELOA
The State will round up chunks of Styrofoam that washed onshore in Kalaeloa today. Tests reveal the white globs are part of a floating pier that drifted from Ke'ehi Lagoon. Carroll Cox of Envirowatch believes more may turn up around Oahu. Ramsay will be live with more on Sunrise.
OVERNIGHT FIRE CALL TO LION COFFEE
The fire department responded to the Lion Coffee Warehouse in Kalihi just before 3 this morning. No word on exactly what happened, but the scene was cleared quickly so it looks like our newsroom can still get our coffee fix today. Lion is a short walk away from our studio.
MISSING WAIPAHU MOTHER
The family of Loida Wideman hopes that flyers passed out over the weekend will lead to her safe return. The Waipahu mother of three disappeared on Mother's Day. Her car was located last week, but so far, no sign of Wideman.

NATIONAL NEWS WE'RE FOLLOWING- JOHN EDWARDS TRIAL
We're also following two big national stories. A jury could come back any time with a verdict against former Presidential candidate John Edwards. Edwards is facing six criminal counts of campaign finance violations stemming from his 2008 candidacy. If convicted, he could face up to 30 years in prison.
DHARUN RAVI SENTENCING
A sentence is also expected for 20 year old Dharun Ravi. The former Rutgers student was convicted in March of using a webcam to see his roommate Tyler Clementi kiss another man. Clementi committed suicide days after the spying. Ravi faces up to ten years in prison.
FACEBOOK WINNERS & LOSERS
The initial public offering of Facebook stock got off to a rocky start. Wall Street botch the opening, delaying sales by a half hour, but there are some unexpected winners and losers. U2's Front man Bono's wealth grew because his equity firm bought 2.3 percent of Mark Zuckerberg's company in 2009. Those shares are worth more than a billion dollars. Meanwhile, one of the Bachelorettes may be kicking herself for choosing love over money. Ali Fedotowsky walked away from her job as Facebook sales rep to chase a Bachelor. That didn't work out as planned.
WIENER DOG RACES
Plus, we get a jump start on the popular Wiener Dog races with our own friendly Sunrise competition. I hear the dogs are named after our news team. Join us to cheer on your favorite pooch/personality.
See you on Sunrise!
