MOANALUA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Board of Water Supply crews have restored water service to residents in Moanalua Valley following a water main break.
According to officials, the 12-inch main break was reported just after 5 p.m. Thursday on Ala Aolani Street.
Officials say approximately 578 customers were affected. Several water wagons were dispatched to the area.
Water service was restored on Friday at about 5:40 a.m.
BWS crews are currently backfilling the trench and clearing the roadway.
A paving contractor is scheduled to commence road repairs at 7a.m.
One lane near Ala Aolani St will remain closed until the paving contractor completes the road repair.
