HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
The University of Hawaii and BYU football game originally
scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29 in Provo,
Utah has been moved to Friday,
Sept. 28 with a 6 p.m. MT (2 p.m. HST) kickoff. The game will be televised nationally on
ESPN at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
It will mark UH's fifth national television appearance this
season and second on one of ESPN's platforms. As previously announced, the
UH-Air Force game will be played Friday, Nov. 16 on ESPN2 in Colorado Springs,
Colo.
Last season, UH and BYU played on ESPN in the regular season
finale in Honolulu. The old Western Athletic Conference rivals are scheduled to
meet again next season (Dec. 7, 2013) in Honolulu.
The five national television appearances this season match
the total UH made last year. Since 2001, UH has made 42 national television
appearances.
