The Island Insurance Foundation has donated $10,000 to Sacred Hearts Academy to assist in the funding of its Clarence T.C. Ching Student Center.
The Student Center will be a gathering place for student meals, social and academic activities and is the final phase of the school's "Women Building a Better Tomorrow Campaign", the Academy's strategic building plan which was realized over the past six years.
Included in the campaign are: the campus air conditioning project, the McKeough Arts Center and the Mother Louise Henriette Performing Arts Center.
Sacred Hearts Academy is Hawaii's largest all-girls school; educating girls aged 3 to 18 and focusing on a well-rounded education preparing young women for the 21st center.
