STEPS TAKEN TO REOPEN HOSPITAL IN EWA BEACH

The Queen's Health Systems is offering a lifeline to the former Hawaii Medical Center West. The hospital closed due to bankruptcy late last year. Tim Sakahara explains what steps are being taken to revive the much-needed facility on the Leeward coast.

PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR WILL STEP DOWN

Public Safety Director Jodie Maesaka Hirata will step down and take the role of Deputy Director of Corrections. Governor Abercrombie made the announcement today, 18 months after he appointed the first woman to the job. Hear why he says this is not a demotion.

WELCOME HOME SOLDIERS!

They've been away from their friends and families for a year. Today, 3,000 Schofield soldiers are finally back home after serving overseas in Afghanistan. Teri Okita takes us to the emotional homecoming tonight at 5:30.
