(HawaiiNewsNow) - Thieves hit a church on the leeward coast recently and stole hundreds of dollars worth of food meant to feed the homeless. Every Wednesday, Waianae Baptist Church serves hot meals for hundreds of homeless living on the leeward coast. The food comes from the Hawaii Foodbank. But on April 26, 2012, thieves broke into the kitchen area and stole all their packaged meats. They also snatched a large power point projector used for the kids at the church as well as containers of laundry detergent.
