EXPOSED SEWER PIPE
Happening today, the City will work on re-submerging a sewer pipe sticking out of the Ala Wai Canal. Part of the 5-thousand foot pipe surfaced over the weekend after an air bubble lifted it and its anchors. City officials say the pipe is not leaking and it's not a health hazard. Ramsay will be on scene with an update live on Sunrise.
INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS FOR TEACHERS
The first informational meetings will be held for HSTA members today. This comes after internal polling indicated that teachers lacked the information and time to consider a contract agreement. In January teachers voted against a six-year contract.
NUUANU SHOOTING SUSPECT IN COURT
A fourth man arrested in connection with last week's shooting at Nuuanu Garden apartments will be in court this morning. Wellington Faleafine faces charges of second-degree attempted murder and two firearm offenses. According to investigators, an argument escalated on Thursday and the 38-year-old shot a 27-year-old man several times. The victim is recovering.
Alex O'Loughlin returns to action on Hawaii Five-O tonight. It will be his first time since checking into rehab for prescription pain dependency. We're told McGarrett's arch-nemesis Wo Fat will be back too for an action-packed episode.
Also on TV tonight, the final four take the stage for the most important song yet. We'll have a preview of the Voice finale on Sunrise.
