Dog food recalled following salmonella outbreaks

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating products that may be related to salmonella outbreaks.

Some products from Diamond Pet Foods are being recalled after 14 people got sick with salmonella.

CDC investigators say it is possible that people got sick after contact with dogs that ate the food.

The recall affect several brands manufactured by the company.
