Space Tourism, NFL Star Dies, Golf Cart Crash

Hi everyone here's a look at some of the stories we're working on for Hawaii News Now at 5 & 5:30.

SPACE TOURISM

Want to catch a flight on a rocket to outer space? There is a chance, flights could take off here in Hawaii. Tim Sakahara is tracking several bills being considered by Hawaii lawmakers that would bring the Hawaii closer to space tourism and even developing on the moon tonight at 5.

REMEMBERING HAWAII SPORTS LEGENDS

We've lost 2 amazing athletes with Hawaii-ties. Tonight we remember the original "Hawaiian Punch" Andy Ganigan and NFL star Junior Seau who was found dead in his California home.

CRITICAL GOLF CART CRASH

What was supposed to be a pleasant day on the golf course at Waialae Country Club, turned into an emergency for 2 men when the golf cart they were riding in ended up in a ditch. We'll have more details tonight at 5.

END OF THE ROAD FOR NEWT

The time has come to bow out of the race for the White House for Newt Gingrich. We'll have more on his announcement and what's next for Gingrich tonight at 5:30.

GOOGLE DOODLE!

Also at 5:30 ... a Hawaii girl's artwork could be featured on the top internet search engine...but she needs your help winning the "Google Doodle" competition.

Hope you can join Guy, Shawn and me for these stories and much more tonight at 5 & 5:30!

Aloha! Steph
