HAPPENING NOW: ACCIDENT ON ALA WAI
Police are now on scene of a 2 car crash on Ala Wai Boulevard and Pau Street. Traffic updates every 10 minutes on Sunrise
A robbery suspect led police on a high speed pursuit overnight. We're told it reached speeds up to 90 mph on the road from the North Shore to Waipahu. The suspect is in custody. Ramsay will join us live with the latest.
LEGISLATIVE SESSION WINDING DOWN
One day left to wrap up loose ends at the State Capitol. This legislative session wraps up tomorrow. We'll have a look at some of the bills headed to the Governor's desk, and their effects on Sunrise.
COPPER THIEVES STRIKE AGAIN
Copper thieves did a number on the H-3 freeway. Now, some of the State's traffic cameras are out of commission. Vandals knocked out about a dozen emergency call boxes, 6 traffic cameras, and some electronic message boards. No word how much it will cost or how long it will take to make repairs.
KAKAAKO TOWER FUTURE
Happening today, the position of a planned Kakaako tower could be decided. A State board is slated to decide the position of the 400 foot Symphony Tower proposed for the corner of Kapiolani Boulevard and Ward Avenue. We'll follow any developments on Hawaii News Now online and on air.
THE VOICE FINAL FOUR
The Voice finals are set. It will be a sing off next Monday night with a recording contract on the line for Tony Lucca, Chris Mann, Juliet Sims and Jermaine Paul. Sunrise plans to talk with the finalists via satellite tomorrow morning.
