TUCSON, ARIZONA (HawaiiNewsNow) - - Hawaii News Now has learned that the Sheriff's department in Tucson, Arizona is investigating a sexual assault case involving three young children from Hawaii.

According to our affiliate, Tucson News Now, the girls, ages 6, 8 and 10, were attacked in their grandparents home early Monday morning.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department says the girls did not know the suspect and that all three girls were victimized, though it is unknown to what extent.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 20s. He was last seen wearing dark shorts, a green sleeveless shirt and dark colored glasses. Detectives created a composite with the aid of one of the victims.

Police are in contact  with all registered sex offenders in the area.

The girls and their mother arrived from Hawaii several days ago to visit the girls' grandparents.
