RUSTON, La. (HawaiiNewsNow) – The University of Hawai'i baseball team dropped its series finale to Louisiana Tech 4-1 on Saturday at J.C. Love Field. The Rainbows fall to 25-18 overall and 5-4 in the Western Athletic Conference while the Bulldogs improve to 20-23 overall and 3-9 in the WAC.
Scott Squier (3-2) lost his second straight decision for Hawai'i. Squier was charged with two runs while allowing five hits and recording two strikeouts.
Hawai'i now returns home for three games against New Mexico State. The 'Bows and Aggies will kick off their WAC series at Les Murakami Stadium on Thursday at 6:35 p.m.
