HONOLULU— Senior Stephanie Ricketts fired her sixth career no-hitter and set a new UH record with her 33rd career shutout, as the 14th ranked University of Hawai`i softball team (40-5, 14-3 WAC) beat Fresno State 2-0 on Senior Day.
Ricketts got all the offensive support she needed with a pair of solo home runs by Kayla Wartner and Alexandra Aguirre.
It was the final home games for eight Rainbow Wahine—including four-year junior Jocelyn Enrique and seniors Aguirre, Makani Duhaylonsod-Kaleimamahu, Shannon Lum, Dara Pagaduan, Rachel Paragas, Ricketts and Sarah Robinson.
Earlier in the day, UH defeated Fresno 1-0, when Wartner launched a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning.
The two wins mark the first time the Bows have ever swept a series against the Bulldogs.
Hawai`i will finish the regular season next week with a three-game series at Utah State and then they will stay on the mainland for the WAC Championship.
