Budget Deadline Looms Tonight at 10

We're following a bit of drama at the state capitol tonight, where the strike of midnight will be the death knell for legislative bills stuck in committees.  And one of those bills in limbo happens to be the state budget.  We'll let you know if lawmakers reach a deal on the $11-billion dollar spending plan.

Also tonight, new reaction to the former Maui teacher now jailed on dozens of child sex charges.

Teri Okita brings us her second report on Hawaii's prison reform plan.  The cost of housing 1,700 inmates on the mainland is about more than money.

And we have new highlights from the 'Warriors Bowl' at UH Manoa tonight.  What does the annual scrimmage tell us about the rest of the season?

Hope to see you at 10,

Keahi
