Witnesses wanted in Kalihi assault case

HONOLULU, HI (HawaiiNewsNow) – Police authorities are seeking the help of anyone who may have witnessed the assault of a homeless man that left him unconscious in Kalihi in March.

Crimestoppers and the Honolulu Police Department say the assault occurred on March 31, 2012 near the businesses at 1013 N. King Street. It is believed the victim, who was transported to a hospital in critical condition after being discovered unconscious and with numerous injuries, regularly sleeps in the area.

The man is unresponsive and unable to provide any information.
