LIVE STREAM: Abercrombie to sign Ceded Lands Deal

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Governor Neil Abercrombie will sign the historic $200 million settlement between the state and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs on Wednesday.

In the deal, OHA will own 25 acres of land in Kakaako along with the buildings that are on it including Fisherman's Wharf and the former John Dominis Restaurant site.

It's prime real estate and most of it is right on the waterfront. The agreement will settle past ceded land claims.

The bill signing will take place at Washington Place at 10:30 a.m.
