HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - More than 10,000 teddy bears and stuffed animals of all sizes, shapes, colors and textures will be collected at Pearlridge Center - Uptown and Downtown Center Court during Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii's 15th Annual Teddy Bear Round-Up and Family Resource Fair sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii, Foster Realty, Inc., State Department of Health, and the Child Abuse Prevention Planning Council. Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii asks for the public's assistance by donating a new or gently used teddy bear or stuffed animal on that day.

The day will be filled with free fun activities for families and parenting tips. In addition, Island Storm, Tradewinds and other popular entertainers will be featured at the stage area. The annual event is one of the highlights of the month-long series of events to observe Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.
