Kitamura Delivers Walk-Off Blow

HONOLULU – Piikea Kitamura worked on being patient at the plate during the offseason, but Saturday night he only needed to see two pitches in his final at bat. On an 0-1 count in the bottom of the 10th inning, Kitamura drove a double deep to right center field, driving in Stephen Ventimilia and Kaeo Aliviado for a walk-off 3-2 win over Fresno State.

The victory propeled UH to its first series win over Fresno State since 2007.
