Sophomore guard Miles leaving U.H. basketball program

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - University of Hawaii sophomore guard Bobby Miles has decided to leave the program and transfer to a school closer to home for the 2012-2013 season, according to head basketball coach Gib Arnold.

"I have really enjoyed coaching Bobby," Arnold said. "He is a great kid to be around and a good teammate. I wish him the best on finding a school closer to home to fit his needs."

Miles, a 6-foot-1, 190 pound guard, is from the Los Angeles area. He made 17 starts in 55 appearances during his two seasons with Hawaii, and his 40 assists were good for fourth best on the team last season.
