Potasi Uta, Jr.
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The man accused of crashing into a bus stop in Makaha last week, killing a 3-year-old boy, had twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system the night of the incident.
An Oahu grand jury Wednesday indicted 43-year-old Potasi Uta, Jr. for negligent homicide, negligent injury, and failure to render aid.
Prosecutors say Uta's blood alcohol level was 0.16 percent more than three hours after the crash. Four others were also injured in the crash.
Uta remains in custody on $100,000 bail.
