HONOLULU - (HawaiiNewsNow) - Experience an authentic culinary journey through the Middle East right in the heart of Kaka'ako and help make a child's wish come true. Honolulu's leading urban food event organizer Streetgrindz presents 'Arabian Nights', the first in a series of events that will showcase Hawaii's favorite food truck chef's in fully themed pop-up restaurants. Streetgrindz is teaming up with Make-A-Wish® Hawaii to raise funds towards granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Streetgrindz is committed to our goal of fully funding a wish through Make-A-Wish Hawaii's Adopt-A-Wish program and will continue to work with the organization in future pop-up events.
Lebanese Chef, Youssef Dakroub, owner of Xtreme Tacos, has created an authentic Middle Eastern "pop-up" experience for 3 nights only. Come see a raw Kaka'ako warehouse space transformed into a multi-sensory experience, including a mix of classical Arabic Music to Algerian Rai, Belly Dancers, Hookah Lounge and a 5 course pre-fixed authentic Middle Eastern menu. Feed your mind, body and soul and help raise money to grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
Arabian Nights will be held at Auahi Business Center Warehouse (683 Auahi St. Honolulu, HI 96813). There will be one seating on April 5, 2012 at 7pm, and two sittings on April 6 and April 7, 2012 at 6pm and 8pm. Tickets can be purchased online.
