(HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii Energy, the conservation and efficiency program for Hawaii, Honolulu and Maui counties, has teamed up with Leeward Community College) and University of Hawaii West Oahu for the 10th Annual Leeward Career, College and Job Fair taking place April 4, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Pearl City campus.
Through Hawaii Energy's sponsorship, this year's Job Fair will focus on "Clean Energy Connections," which are clean energy career and training opportunities for attendees and participants. The job fair will give attendees the opportunity to explore job and career training opportunities, and ask questions in a welcoming environment. It's anticipating participation from more than 70 employers and 30 college programs, and attendance of nearly 2,000 job seekers. The purpose of the job fair is to provide access to college programs and employment opportunities from local businesses for both students and the general public.
