HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An investigation is underway after a contractor uncovered skeletal remains at a construction site in Kailua.
According to Honolulu police, the discovery was made at 3:45 p.m. Monday.
An archaeologist was called to the scene and determined the remains appeared to be more than 50 years old.
The case was referred to the Medical Examiner's office.
Police have classified the case an as unattended death.
