Hawaii Marines & Sailors Deploying to Australia, Tsunami Awareness Month, & High Gas Prices

In just a short time, about 200 Hawaii-based Marines and sailors will depart Marine Corps Base Hawaii. They're heading to Australia to create a training hub that will help allies protect U.S. interests. Hawaii News Now will be at the ceremony to bring you the latest coverage.

Hawaii gas prices are still rising and even mainlanders are feeling our pain. Diesel, premium and even mid-priced gas now average more than four dollars per gallon nationwide.
