WALMART OPENS IN KAPOLEI
If you build it, they will come. Oahu's 4th Walmart Walmart opens its doors to shoppers at 10 this morning in Kapolei. The store gives a boost to the Second City by putting 300 employees to work and will be open 24 hours a day. Ramsay Wharton will have live reports on Sunrise.
KAHUKU POWER OUTAGE
Developing right now, about 280 customers are still waiting for the lights to come back on in Kahuku. A power pole knocked out service to 400 families last night. HECO expects to restore power to everyone by this morning.
RACE TO THE TOP REVIEW
Federal officials are scheduled to tour Lanakila elementary school today. It's part of a 4 day trip to determine whether Hawaii has made enough progress to deserve 75 million dollars in Race to the Top federal funding. For more on this story, click here.
UNDERAGE DRINKING TOWN HALL
Happening today on Maui, a town hall will be held to discuss underage drinking prevention. It's taken on new significance following this weekend's head-on crash in Kula that killed 5 people. The meeting starts at 6 in the King Kekaulike High School cafeteria in Pukalani. Meanwhile, funeral services have been set for the youngest victim in the crash. 19 year old Annastachia Kalua Cruz Manuel will be remembered at Grace Church in Pukalanai April 13th.
HAWAII MEDALS OF HONOR
Hawaii's fallen war heroes will be honored today at the State Capitol. Their families will be presented with the Hawaii Medal of Honor during a special joint session of the State Legislature. Last year, more than 300 service members with Hawaii ties were killed in the line of duty.

FUNDRAISER FOR RECOVERING HAWAII PHOTOGRAPHER
Two fundraisers will be held tonight to help pay for medical expenses for underwater photographer Mike Prickett. The man behind such hits as Riding Giants and Step into Liquid is recovering from a diving accident while working in Tahiti. He flashed a shaka from his hyperbaric treatment center in San Diego.
