Big Island Quake, KONY 2012 Comes to Hawaii, 35 mph Winds

JOLTED OUT OF BED

An overnight earthquake off the Kona coast gave residents a jolt. One viewer reported on our facebook page that she actually jumped out of bed because her entire house was shaking. The 3.5 magnitude quake hit just after midnight. There was no tsunmai generated.

KONY 2012 SCREENS IN KAPOLEI

The viral video about the African warlord Joseph Kony will be screened at noon today at Kapolei Theatres. UH is hosting the event. A survivor of the Ugandan genocide will talk about the film and his experiences after the screening. Meanwhile, the director of the video Jason Russell has been hospitalized and diagnosed with brief psychosis. Witnesses saw him pacing naked on a sidewalk, screaming incoherently and acting agitated recently.
