Reward for info on portable toilet fires

BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - The company that owns the portable toilets which were set on fire at Ahalanui Beach Park in Kapoho on the Big Island Monday morning has offered a reward for information aiding the Big Island Police Department's investigation.

Earlier this week, Big Island Police initiated an arson investigation in connection with the fires, which happened sometime between 1:15 a.m. and 1:27 a.m. Monday morning. The toilets were rendered unusable, and damage was estimated at $3,100.

If your tip is valid, the company has offered a $2,500 dollar reward. Anyone with information should contact Mandy Lindsey at 808-775-0460.
