MILILANI POWER OUTAGE

An overnight power outage leaves about 400 customers in the dark in Mililani. We're getting reports from neighbors about a loud explosion, then a blackout. All the latest details ahead on Sunrise.

HAWAIIAN AIRLINES FLIGHT ARRIVES AFTER DELAY

Engine problems in the air from Oakland to Honolulu forced the plane to turn back yesterday. We've just gotten word from passengers that the flight has landed.

KAILUA BEACH WORK

Part of Kailua beach will be blocked off from the boat ramp to Kaelepulu Stream starting today. Dump trucks will haul sand to spread onto the beach to replenish the popular shoreline. Work is expected to run through Friday.

SCHOFIELD SOLDIER KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN.

We've learned new information about the Hawaii based soldier killed in Afghanistan. Second Lieutenant Clovis Tim Ray was an Investment Banker until he felt a calling to serve his country. The San Antonio Native leaves behind a wife and a 5 year old son.

TSA CHANGES

Starting today, the TSA will allow passengers 75 years old and older to keep on their jackets and shoes during security screenings at airports in 4 cities- Denver, Chicago, Orlando, and Portland.
