INVESTIGATOR, FORMER TV REPORTER'S FIRM HIRED BY STATE

The private firm of former television reporter turned private investigator, Matt Levi, has been hired by the state. Levi's firm will provide a much needed service to residents of Mayor Wright Housing. More at 5 from Brooks Baehr.

POLICE END SEARCH FOR MISSING BOY

Big Island police had asked for the public's help to locate a missing boy from Puna. But now that won't be necessary. Ben Gutierrez has the latest on nine-year-old, Disen Hue-Aragaki, who had been reported missing earlier this week.

HAWAII MAN BATTLING FLESH EATING BACTERIA

A Kauai man is in the fight of his life tonight after being diagnosed with a flesh eating bacteria. We spoke with man's mother this afternoon who says her son has had numerous surgeries to remove damaged flesh.

How much do you spend to gas up your vehicle? A new poll shows that gas prices are taking a toll on your household budget, especially now that the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Honolulu is $4.34. What Triple-A Hawaii says the steep prices are forcing families to do, tonight at 5.
