Hawaii drivers continue to see high gas prices

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Drivers across the country are feeling pain at the pump.

According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas rose six-tenths of a cent to $3.81.

The increase in gas prices is impacting Hawaii drivers the most. According to AAA's Fuel Gauge Report for Wednesday, the average prices for regular unleaded gas include:

  • Hilo: $4.60 per gallon
  • Honolulu: $4.33 per gallon
  • Wailuku: $4.54 per gallon


Motorists on Molokai are also seeing high prices. A gallon of regular unleaded gas was reportedly at $5.36.
