Kalanianaole Contraflow, Hawaii Caucus, One on One with Campaigns

KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY CONTRAFLOW NEAR SEA LIFE PARK

Be prepared for delays near Makapuu Lighthouse and Sea Life Park starting this morning at 8:30. Crews will be working to shore up erosion damage from severe storms. Concrete will be installed today to stabilize and reinforce the foundation. It will be allowed to cure until Thursday. In the meantime, traffic will be contraflowed heading west. The closure is set for today, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3 PM.

HAWAII CAUCUS

Hawaii will make history tonight when Republican voters make their picks in the state's first ever GOP presidential caucus. We'll sit down on Sunrise with representatives from the campaigns who happen to be very close to the candidates. Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul have sent their children to Hawaii to stump for votes.

"PUBLIC MANIPULATION" IN CITY'S PUSH FOR RAIL?

Happening today, Mayoral candidate Ben Cayetano plans to reveal emails from Federal Transit Administration that he says confirm the City engaged in "public manipulation" in its push for rail. The campaign for the former Governor says it obtained these correspondences after the city submitted them to federal court for a pending lawsuit filed by Cayetano and others.

FINGERS FOUND

Police are miffed over a disturbing discovery at Kukui Gardens. A woman who was dumpster diving found a severed finger determined by lab tests to be a young child's between 2 to 10 years old. KAUAI NATIVE KILLED IN CALIFORNIA BOAT ACCIDENT

A Kauai high grad was killed when his boat capsized near Santa Barbara. 54 year old Edgar Isnec was out fishing over the weekend when it happened. Three men died in the incident and the search continues for a 4th body.
